Safety/Policing
We want everyone to enjoy the Cowal Gathering and return home with exciting memories of a brilliant day out. With this in mind we ask that everyone who enters the stadium behaves responsibly and in line with the family nature of the event.
We will refuse admission to anyone who appears to have already had too much to drink or to groups who are
behaving in a raucous manner.
For everyones safety we have private stewards and a police prescence within the stadium and we would ask that you adhere to any instruction given by them. They will also remove any individuals or groups from within the stadium who have had too much to drink or are making a nuisance of themselves.
Unfortunately due to licensing restrictions it is not possible to bring alcohol into the stadium and the police and stewards will confiscate any that is brought in. A range of Alcohol is available however from any of the three bars within the stadium.
Also in order to maintain safety it is not possible to operate BBQ equipment within the stadium or the car/bus parks adjacant to the stadium. Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and Strathclyde Police will enforce these restrictions.
Dogs are permitted within the stadium, all that we ask is that they are kept on a lead at all times and you have the necesarry equipment to clean up after them. It is worth bearing in mind however, that the stadium can be a very busy place and, particularly on the Saturday, a very noisy place. Not all dogs are happy in this environment we ask that you bear this in mind when deciding whether to bring your dog.
