PATRONS


LIFE PATRON
Life patronage is offered to supporters of Cowal Highland Gathering who wish to make a generous donation to be used in the furtherance of the Gathering and improvements to the facilities offered to visitors and competitors.

Life Patrons are entitled to some unique benefits and in order that the donations can be used for the intended purposes, there will be a small annual administration charge to cover the ongoing costs of offering entry tickets, programme and postage etc. As a life patron you will receive:
  • Complimentary ticket for each day
  • Enamel Cowal Highland Gathering lapel badge (first year only)
  • Complimentary programme
  • Life patrons certificate (first year only)
  • Access to the newly sited and enhanced Patrons Marquee which now offers a view of the main arena.
  • Ability to pre-book one seat in the Grandstand on Saturday
  • Listing in the programme and on the website.
Cost of Package: £200 + £30 annual subscription

  BUSINESS PATRON

This package is for businesses, clubs or groups who wish to support the Cowal Highland Gathering whilst benefiting from the added exposure that being involved with the Gathering can bring. 
The package consits of:
  • Business patrons certificate
  • Listing in the event programme
  • Listing on the Gathering website
  • Listing on the sponsors Board at the event.
  • 4 complimentary tickets for Friday and Saturday
  • Access to the newly enhanced patrons marquee which now offers a veiw of the main arena.
  • Listing in the Dunoon Observer in the weeks running up to the Gathering
  • A complimentary glass of wine when arriving in the patrons marquee for the first time.
Cost: £150 per annum

PATRON
The Patron scheme is the basic package for those wishing to support the Gathering and enjoy the comfort of the patrons marquee. The Patrons fee is payable on an annual basis. 
The package comprises:
  • Complimentary ticket forThursday, Friday and Saturday
  • Patrons rosette
  • Access to the newly sited and enhanced Patrons Marquee which now offers a view of the main arena.
  • Complimentary programme
Cost: £35 per annum

Cowal Gathering Affiliated Dance Schools

This new scheme for 2011 enables highland dance schools to become affiliated to the Cowal Highland Gathering. The fee received for affiliation will be directly reinvested into the dancing events at the gathering and will assist us in enhancing these events for competitors and spectators alike. It will also assist us in bringing top overseas judges to the event and many other increasing costs associated with the dancing events at the gathering.

In return for the affiliation fee yoou will receive;
  • Complimentary parking (for one car) in the Black Park car park on the Thursday and friday of the gathering
  • Complimentary programme
  • Certificate of Affiliation
  • Access to the patrons tent for school principal and one guest
  • The school will be listed on the Cowal Gathering website and in the event programme and a mention on the facebook page.
  • 10% off Gathering merchandise purchased prior to the gathering
  • The knowledge that you are assisting the gathering in continuing to improve the dancing events at the cowal gathering at a time when costs associated with staging the event continue to rise
