The Kids
Like most events nowadays Cowal Gathering features several children's rides and bouncy castles together with the usual attractive stalls of sweets and toys. This year will also see the return of the popular rodeo bull and for the first time there will also be a snowboard simulator on site. The last two rides are great for the young and the young at heart alike.
As part of the Cowal Gathering commitment to offer a fun day out for the whole family - rather than just for those taking part in the competitive elements, we are delighted to confirm that the popular Kids entertainment tent will make a return to the Gathering.
Look out for the brightly coloured marquee on the top of the hill where your kids can enjoy Magic Shows, Punch and Judy Shows and a bubble workshop! throughout the Saturday afternoon - with balloon modelling and face painting on offer between performances.
All Shows are offered free of charge and entry will be on a first come, first served basis - but with a quick turnaround between show times there will be always something available to avoid disappointment.
This will also see the Glasgow Science Centre doing their "experiments on the go" lessons. They will not be in one place but will be wandering around the event amazing children with experiments and science. There will also be a local art club stand on the Saturday which will allow children to participate in small scale art projects.

So come along and be amazed at the magic and wowed by the puppets between 1pm and 5pm on the Saturday.
